We were four couples after two weeks of sailing. Dimitri is like a friend not a hotel owner. Poly made us feel at home. Ask for the room 10 if it is available. You have to walk 5 minutes for easy swimming.
We spent a night here at the beginning and end of a one week sailing holiday. The owner and her English speaking daughter Polly could not have been more accommodating and helpful, allowing us to check in early and depart late and offering us a delicious breakfast on arrival on their beautiful terrace. We had a variety of rooms all of which were comfortable but with a special mention for the second floor twin with wrap around balcony which was very light and attractive. Some things do need updating and the air con units need some love (and batteries) but overall it is a delightful little place . We enjoyed swimming off the rocks below and the easy walk to the old port. We would certainly stay again
I was spoilt to a week at Hotel Villa Orsa for my birthday in July. We were greeted with such a friendly and warm welcome by the hotel owner - and this instantly was a positive for me. The hotel is very well kept and looked after. Very neat, quiet, scrumptious breakfasts on the terrace, and the most beautiful sea view to wake up to! It was pleasantly very close and accessable walking distance to the port. The aircons above the bed were a dream and I really cannot rate this villa enough. I promised to be back and next time to stay in a room with balcony.
The location was idyllic, overlooking the azure blue sea.Having breakfast in the courtyard with such a stunning view was unforgettable. The staff were very professional and helpful.
Staff were very helpful. Lovely location although the steps up from the harbour to the hotel were steep.
Beautiful property with interesting furniture and pieces throughout. We stayed in a 3rd floor room with a large balcony which was well furnished with chairs table and sunbeds. The view from our balcony was stunning.
A beautiful location that is quiet with stunning sea views, but only a short walk to all the action of the port, restaurants and shops. Hotel Villa Orsa had one of the prettiest balconies I've ever sat on for breakfast and to start each day on this shaded tranquil terrace under grape vines and with the sparkling ocean to look over was a highlight of our stay at Skiathos. The balcony in our room also had beautiful views. The manager of the villa, Orsa, was delightful to talk with and her excellent English made things so easy. All the staff made our stay comfortable in what was a very well located hotel, full of character, in a stunning location. Highly recommended!
ave stayed at Orsa on the 21st of August until the 25th of August. If you do not like walking do not book at this hotel since it is situated at the traditional side of Skiathos (Plakes). You have to walk for approximately 7 minutes. Only quads and bikes can go there since roads are very narrow and there are many stairs. If you take the downhill small road you will be at the port in just 5 minutes walk. Breathtaking view if you book a room with a balcony.
